Kiran Kang is an associate at Grandview Law Group LLP practicing in the area of Family Law.
Kiran earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia where she double-majored in Political Science and Sociology, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2013. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2014.
Kiran articled and practiced at a boutique family law firm in the Tri-Cities area prior to joining Grandview Law Group LLP.
Kiran’s practice covers all areas of family law; including, drafting of agreements (cohabitation, prenuptial and separation agreements), matters relating to children, as well as child and spousal support. Additionally, Kiran advises clients in the complex area of asset and debt division.
Kiran recognizes that navigating through a family law matter can often be stressful and emotional. She endeavours to provide clients with practical and pragmatic solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.
Kiran strives to assist her clients to reach out of court settlements through separation agreements or mediation; however, she is prepared to take matters to court when reasonable and necessary. As an experienced litigator, she has appeared in both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia and has also assisted senior counsel with matters at the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
